  • The Transmitter sends a beam of light across to the Receiver . When the beam of light is
    blocked by the ice cubes this will signal the ice maker to stop making ice cubes
    there should always be a light emitting from the transmitter , if you cannot see a light
    then replace the 4389102 transmitter and receiver kit .

Found the parts on several sites but quality was questionable. Found one review that recommended Edgewater Parts. Website was reasonably good with pictures of parts. Price was higher than other sites but parts arrived as expected with conformal coating on both sides of PCBs. Direct replacement of old parts and working so far after 2 weeks.  Happy with purchase and experience. Fyi - made in China
