Oven Control Boards
An oven control board does exactly what the name suggests: It controls the oven when buttons are pressed to set the oven’s temperature or clock. If your oven shows a blank screen or you do not get any response when pressing the buttons, then the control board might have worn out. Sometimes the oven will still beep or the display will light up when buttons are pressed, but if the control board is broken, no change will occur.
If your oven won't respond or isn't heating properly, then the entire appliance might not be broken. Don’t buy and install an entirely new oven without first checking if the control board is the issue. Signals might not be sending from the control board correctly, and a replacement oven control board would be much cheaper than buying an entirely new oven. At Edgewater Parts, we have replacement oven parts for all the top-selling brands, such as Whirlpool, GE, Electrolux, Samsung and more.
