Replacement Bake & Broil Units
Is your oven not reaching the right temperature, or does it take forever to heat up? Does food come out undercooked or burnt on top? If so, then it sounds like your bake unit needs replacing. You can check if your bake unit is defective with a quick visual check. If the element is blistered or separated, then it's time for a new part.
The bake unit is the heating element that is found at the bottom of the oven. It is the thin wire that heats up and disperses heat throughout the closed area of the oven's interior. Most electric ovens use both the bake element at the bottom and the broil element at the top to thoroughly cook food.
At Edgewater Parts, we carry parts for all the top brands, such as GE, Frigidaire, Maytag, Whirlpool and more. Don't get an entirely new oven when a much cheaper and easy repair could save you hundreds.
