Dryer Belts & Replacement Parts
A dryer belt is designed to wrap around the drum of a dryer and spin, causing the clothes inside to tumble around and heat evenly. Over time, the dryer belt, sometimes called a drum belt, wears down and can snap. This means the drum wont spin and all your wet laundry remains in a stationary pile, making it difficult to heat and dry the clothing stuck in the middle. Thankfully, it's easy to tell if a dryer belt needs to be replaced. If you turn on the dryer and don't hear the clothes tumbling around inside, then it's time for a replacement dryer belt. If your dryer isn't heating or spinning properly, check to see what the problem is. Don't rush out and buy an expensive new appliance when a much cheaper and easier fix with a replacement part can save you time and money.
